Dodge is undoubtedly an American label of automobile manufactured by FCA US LLC (formerly referred to as Chrysler Group LLC), operating out of Auburn Hills, Michigan. Dodge vehicles currently range from the lower-priced badge variants of Chrysler-badged vehicles along with performance cars, though for a lot of its existence Dodge was Chrysler's mid-priced brand above Plymouth.Founded because Dodge Brothers Company machine shop by brothers Horace Elgin Dodge and John Francis Dodge in early 1900s,[3] Dodge was originally a supplier of parts and assemblies for Detroit-based automakers and began building complete automobiles underneath the "Dodge Brothers" brand in 1914, predating the founding of Chrysler Corporation.
